In the beginning, the goddess Einhasad breathed life into the world of Aden. From the heavens, she placed the gods to watch over the land — Gran Kain, the god of darkness and cunning; Shilen, goddess of water and sorrow; Maphr, the earth mother; and Paagrio, lord of flame.
The first children of the gods were the Giants — towering beings of immense power and intellect. They mastered the arcane arts, built cities of stone and crystal, and commanded the very essence of magic. Under their rule, Aden flourished into a civilization beyond compare.
But pride became their ruin. The Giants, drunk on power, attempted to seize divine authority for themselves. They constructed the Tower of Insolence — a spire of forbidden magic meant to pierce the heavens and claim godhood.
"They reached for the stars, and the stars reached back — with ruin."
The gods, enraged by this betrayal, unleashed a cataclysm upon the Giants. In a single night, their civilization was shattered. The great cities crumbled, the arcane towers fell, and the Giants themselves were reduced to ash and memory.
Only ruins remain of their age — the scattered relics, the cursed dungeons, and the whispered warnings carved into stone walls across the world of Aden.
